Key Changes in New SSC CGL Pattern

  1. Number of Tiers Reduced:
    Earlier, there were 4 tiers; now only 2 tiers.

  2. Tier 1 as a Screening Test:
    Tier 1 is now a qualifying exam, and its marks are not included in the final merit list.

  3. Tier 2 as the Main Merit Exam:

    • Tier 2 has become the primary merit-determining stage.
    • It includes skill tests for specific posts.

  4. Emphasis on Subject-Specific Papers:

    • Paper 2: Statistics (for JSO).
    • Paper 3: Finance & Economics (for AAO).

Eligibility Criteria (योग्यता)

  1. Educational Qualification (शैक्षिक योग्यता):
    • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से।
  2. Age Limit (आयु सीमा):
    • 18-32 वर्ष (पद के अनुसार आयु सीमा अलग है)।
    • आयु में छूट SC/ST/OBC/PwD उम्मीदवारों को मिलती है।
